At AK Public Affairs, we are seeking a Junior Consultant to further expand our team and support our work on technology policy. This is an ideal role for a young public affairs professional who is looking to contribute directly to the growth of an independent and expert public affairs firm with high ambitions. Role and Responsibilities
- Contribute to the day-to-day work of client accounts and policy workstreams.
- Monitor and report on key developments in technology policy both internally and to clients.
- Support client teams in developing and executing public affairs strategies.
- Contribute to business development, proposals, and marketing initiatives, and represent AK Public Affairs at industry and policy events. Key Requirements
- 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Previous experience in a public affairs consultancy, EU institutions or a trade association would be considered a plus.
- Exposure to and knowledge of key areas of technology policy (e.g., cybersecurity, telecommunications, AI, platform regulation, frontier technologies, etc.) is preferred.
- Excellent command of English; other EU languages are a plus.
