- Translate functional requirements into detailed technical designs and program structures.
- Develop and maintain backend software using mainframe technologies and modern development tools.
- Create and execute comprehensive test cases and perform technical integration testing.
- Conduct self and peer code reviews to maintain high quality and performance standards.
- Analyze and resolve incidents and defects to ensure system reliability.
- Participate in a standby rotation to ensure continuous service availability. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend development within a mainframe environment.
- You have solid technical expertise in COBOL, PL/1, EGL, and DB2.
- You bring experience with development and versioning tools such as IDz workbench, Changeman, and GitHub.
- You possess the ability to translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
- You're experienced in working with Agile methodologies in complex environments.
- You are proactive, analytical, and capable of working independently while collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
- You are fluent in Dutch and English. Nice to Haves
- Experience in financial markets and investment banking. Offer
