MECHANIC

To strengthen our Maintenance Team at our location in Eynatten, Belgium, we are looking for an Industrial Mechanic (m/f/x)

As an Industrial Mechanic, you will ensure the reliable, safe, and efficient operation of our production equipment. Through your technical expertise, you will perform maintenance and repair activities, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and contribute to the installation and commissioning of new equipment. Your structured approach and strong commitment to safety will play a key role in maximizing equipment availability and ensuring smooth production operations.

Your Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues affecting machines, production equipment, and infrastructure.
• Perform corrective maintenance and carry out root cause analyses to prevent recurring breakdowns.
• Execute preventive maintenance activities and inspections according to established maintenance plans.
• Install, assemble, modify, and commission new machinery and technical equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Record maintenance activities, repairs, and incidents within the maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Actively contribute to TPM, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, and equipment performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote the responsible use of resources and equipment.

Your Profile

• Technical qualification as an Industrial Mechanic, Mechatronics Technician, Maintenance Technician, or equivalent.
• Previous experience in the maintenance of industrial production equipment is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and drive systems.
• Experience with machining, milling, welding, or fabrication work is considered an asset.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to troubleshooting.
• Team-oriented, reliable, and service-minded personality.
• Able to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility and safety awareness.
• Very good command of both German and French.
