Roles & Responsibilities

You support public sector clients in designing, implementing, and operationalising Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) aligned with ISO 27001 and NIS2 requirementsYou draft and validate the full policy and procedure landscape an ISMS requires: security policies, risk management procedures, BIA frameworks, BCM plans, and supporting documentationYou work closely with business departments to embed security governance in complex organisational contexts, translating regulatory obligations into practical, auditable controlsYou guide clients through NIS2 compliance roadmaps, from gap assessment to implementation, including stakeholder alignment with senior management and oversight bodiesYou contribute to team knowledge development by sharing sector-specific insights and coaching junior colleagues on regulatory and framework topicsYou build trusted relationships with client stakeholders at operational and management level within the public sector

Skills & Qualifications

You hold a Master's degree (or equivalent experience) and have at least 3 years of relevant experience in information security, GRC, or risk managementYou have hands-on experience implementing or auditing ISMS environments, ideally in or for public sector organisationsYou are familiar with NIS2 and its transposition into Belgian or broader EU public sector obligationsYou can draft security policies and procedures independently and know how to get them validated and adopted in complex organisationsKnowledge of CCB CyberFundamentals is a clear plus
Relevant certifications are a plus: ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor, NIS2 Lead Implementer, CISA, CISM, or CISSPExperience in a CISO or DPO role, or as an advisor to one, strengthens your profileYou are fluent in English; Dutch is a strong plus given the client contextYou are analytical, ownership-driven, and comfortable operating in regulated, multi-stakeholder environments
