About the Accounting Shared Service Center
The Accounting Shared Service Center supports several Mazda entities in Europe with their daily accounting processes. The team is responsible for activities such as the correct processing of purchase and sales invoices, bank transactions, reconciliations, payments, month-end closing activities and audit support. By centralising these activities, the team contributes to efficient, consistent and high-quality financial services for the Mazda organisation.
Your role
As an intern or student within the Finance department, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a broad, educational and challenging environment. You will support the team with operational accounting tasks while gaining insight into the collaboration between finance, business, IT and other European Mazda teams.
Depending on your interests, availability and field of study, your responsibilities may include:
Supporting the processing and checking of financial data.Assisting with administrative and accounting tasks within the Accounting Shared Service Center.Helping with reconciliations, reporting, follow-up of open items and preparation of monthly closing activities.Supporting the structuring, documentation or improvement of existing processes.Contributing to basic analyses or overviews in Excel.Assisting with finance-related projects, for example in the areas of digitalisation, standardisation or process improvement.Collaborating with colleagues from different teams and countries within Mazda Europe.Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a motivated student who is eager to learn and willing to think proactively. Ideally, you are studying accountancy, finance, business management, economics or a similar field. Previous experience is not required; motivation, accuracy and eagerness to learn are just as important to us.

You work accurately and in a structured way.You have an interest in accounting, finance and business processes.You are comfortable working with Excel and are eager to learn new systems.You are communicative, discreet and reliable.You are not afraid to ask questions and take initiative.You can work independently, but also enjoy working as part of a team.You have a good command of English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.What do we offer?
