Notre client dans le secteur Énergie et ressources naturelles recherche un/une Cloud Platform Engineer (Azure & AWS) H/F

Description de la mission :

Context

The Marketing & Sales IT department is evolving a cloud-first landscape that supports business teams and their customers with digital tools. Azure and AWS are both in use. The platform is managed with a DevOps and platform-engineering mindset: infrastructure is defined in Git and deployed through automated pipelines, with no manual changes in production.

Key services include Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and AWS EKS with GitOps-based delivery; virtual machines, storage, networking and firewalls; PaaS databases including PostgreSQL, SQL Server and MySQL; landing zones, identity and access management, secrets management; and observability with Datadog.

Mission

As a member of the Cloud Squad, the Cloud Platform Engineer builds and operates the cloud platform that product and data teams use to deliver software safely and efficiently. The role works with the team and architects to translate requirements into appropriate cloud solutions, favouring PaaS and managed services over IaaS.

  • Operate AKS and/or EKS clusters and maintain GitOps delivery with ArgoCD, Helm and Kustomize, including upgrades, scaling and onboarding workloads.

  • Maintain reusable CI/CD pipelines and templates using Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions to enable application teams.

  • Improve security posture and implement GDPR and corporate-group requirements, including least privilege, workload identity and federation, private networking, customer-managed keys, policy-as-code, vulnerability management and endpoint protection.

  • Define and maintain monitoring, logging, SLOs and alerting with Datadog; participate in incident response and post-incident improvements.

  • Optimise platform costs by reviewing new features and right-sizing resources.

  • Troubleshoot connectivity, performance and access issues, and automate repetitive operations using scripts, pipelines and Azure Functions.

  • Use AI coding assistants responsibly, while retaining engineering accountability for review, testing and security.

  • Document designs and runbooks, share knowledge and coach colleagues and application teams.

  • Keep up with platform developments and propose and implement improvements.
