Your mission

As Global CAD Design Manager, you will plan, lead and develop the global CAD function of the Group. You act as the technical and strategic reference for CAD activities, ensuring efficient, high-quality and future-oriented drawing production, fully aligned with QSHE standards and business priorities.

You will drive standardisation, automation, innovation and long-term vision of CAD processes across the organization.

Key responsibilities

Global CAD leadership

Lead and structure the CAD organization at global level

Allocate CAD resources according to project priorities and workload

Ensure efficiency, delivery quality and consistency across teams

Coach and support CAD team leaders and designers

Occasional international travel (~10%)

Technical leadership & vision

Act as Global Technical Lead for CAD tools and methodologies

Maintain strong hands-on expertise in AutoCAD (advanced versions) and solid understanding of 3D environments

Define and own the long-term CAD roadmap:

Transition towards 3D and parametric design

Increased automation of drawing production

Reduction of manual and repetitive CAD work

Identify and implement future-proof CAD tools and workflows

Drawing strategy & process ownership

Structure and govern the three CAD pillars:

Commercial drawings

Technical / engineering drawings

Assembly & installation drawings

Ensure clarity of purpose, ownership and quality standards

Guarantee smooth handover between sales, engineering and installation phases

Innovation & continuous improvement

Drive digitalisation and automation of CAD processes

Challenge existing tools and methods

Act as a change agent, translating vision into concrete implementation

Collaboration & stakeholder management

Interface with engineering, project, sales and system integration teams

Ensure CAD outputs fully support project execution and installation teams

Act as a trusted and credible technical authority across the Group

Qualifications

Your profile :

Strong experience in CAD engineering within an industrial / project-based environment

Proven leadership experience managing CAD teams or competence centers

Deep expertise in AutoCAD; exposure to 3D and parametric design is essential

Strong process mindset with a passion for automation and efficiency

Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels

International mindset, fluent in English (additional languages like Dutch, Polish, Portuguese are a plus)
