Hauptaufgaben

You will:

- Perform a wide range of budget functions in the formulation, execution, presentation and review of assigned segments of the installation and tenant activities budget program.

- Analyze local and higher headquarters guidance to determine applicability and impact to major segments to the budget for which responsible.

- Monitor the execution phase of the budget program, as presented to higher headquarters, for all assigned activities.

- Perform major reprogramming actions required to accommodate overall programming as it pertains to funds, manpower, and workload.

- Maintain and inform budget officer of anticipated problem areas and performs special analyses, highlighting potential program execution problems.

- Prepare applicable portions of the organization's Program Budget and Financial Management reports pertaining to serviced activities.

Qualifikationsanforderungen

Applicant must demonstrate at least one year of experience in a closely related field as the position to be filled, and demonstrate that he/she possesses the knowledge, skills and abilities (KSA's) required for the position, as described in the KSAs section below. To be creditable, experience must have been gained at a level that is equivalent to at least the next lower grade (BA-09).

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

- Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively in English with program managers, tenant activities, and higher headquarters.
- Knowledge of accounting systems and financial records.
- Skill in budget formulation and execution.
- Ability to analyze budget requirements, expenditures, workload, manpower, and funding projections.
