Hauptaufgaben

As a Transportation Assistant, you will perform the following duties:

- Coordinate budget requirements concerning the vehicle fleet and coordinates vehicle purchases and dispositions with the different involved departments.
- Identify, evaluate and improve practices and procedures to improve utilization of resources and eliminate fraud, waste and abuse.
- Conduct regular inspections and evaluations of motor pool operations to enforce compliance with safety, maintenance, and operator care standards.
- Initiate and process reports by collecting repair cost estimates and supporting accident documentation.
- Establish and maintain internal operating procedures.
- Consolidate, analyze, and translate raw transportation data into executive briefings, charts, and utilization reports for Management.
- Manage administrative motor pool operations, including certifying invoices, managing driver schedules, and tracking budget data
-Manage Federal Automotive Statistical Tool (FAST) and non-tactical vehicle Global Combat Support System requirements.

• PROFILE

At grade BA 06

1. EXPERIENCE
Applicants who demonstrate at least one year of experience in the same or a similar line of work as the job for which considered qualify at the BA 06 level. The predominant experience must have been gained at a comparable level of difficulty one level below the position to be filled (equivalent to BA 05). The experience must demonstrate that the applicant possesses the knowledge, skills and abilities required for the position, as described in the KSA's section.

2. SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION
A Bachelor degree or equivalent successfully completed in a related field is qualifying at the BA-06 level.

At grade BA 07
