Description de la mission :

Mission – Senior Technical Analyst – AML Monitoring

Context and objective

A major AML monitoring project is underway within a large international banking group. The team is looking for a Senior Technical Analyst to manage the current AML monitoring tool and support the delivery of additional detection scenarios.

As part of the AML framework, the mission aims to ensure compliance with the Risk Typology Catalogue, including red flags issued by the Group Financial Security function. To mitigate identified risks and address newly emerging risks, additional scenarios must be developed within the current tool.

Main responsibilities

Scenario development:
• Collaborate with the Business Analyst to translate AML risk analysis into effective and relevant AML detection scenarios
• Write SAS scripts to test and refine scenario logic using historical data simulations
• Review and discuss simulation results with the AML Framework team to validate scenario effectiveness

Implementation:
• Configure scenarios in Netreveal or develop SAS-based detection scripts
• Perform testing in the test environment
• Deploy configurations and scripts to production

Documentation and change management:
• Contribute to the audit trail documentation to ensure full traceability of the development process
• Assist in preparing presentation slides for the AML/CTF TM Framework Committee
• Support the Business Analyst in managing change processes for L1 and L2 teams
• Participate in aftercare activities, including analysis of alert volumes and relevancy rates

Profile required

Experience:
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Several years of experience in the AML domain

Technical skills:
• Mandatory: Netreveal (mainly Scenario Manager), SAP Business Objects, SAS Enterprise Guide, SQL
• Preferable: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint

Business and methodology:
• Mandatory: strong knowledge of the AML domain
• Preferable: Agile way of working

Language requirements:
• Sound knowledge of English
• Proficiency in at least one local language, written and spoken: Dutch or French

Education:
• Master’s degree
