Ingenieur Expert Veiligheid – Projectrealisatie | Dessel | On-site

We are looking for an experienced Ingenieur Expert Veiligheid to support complex technical projects within a highly regulated industrial environment. In this role, you will provide specialized technical expertise, coordinate projects, perform risk analyses and contribute to the development of safe, reliable and compliant installations and processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, organize and optimize technical processes, projects and specialist activities.
• Identify improvement opportunities and apply relevant lessons learned and best practices.
• Prepare and review technical and operational documentation, studies, specifications and reports.
• Perform or participate in risk analyses and safety assessments, including HAZOP, FMEA, SWIFT and MOC.
• Develop technical solutions, specifications, action plans and innovative improvements.
• Lead and coordinate technical projects from initiation through completion.
• Manage project planning, budgets, stakeholders and reporting.
• Provide expert technical advice to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure the safety, reliability, availability and maintainability of technical installations and processes.
• Review and maintain project, safety, construction, permit and operational documentation.
• Develop and monitor acceptance criteria and technical standards.
• Support procurement and contracting activities, including the preparation and evaluation of technical specifications.
• Maintain and share specialist knowledge regarding applicable standards, legislation, best practices and technical developments.
• Contribute to maintenance, replacement and medium-term investment planning.

Requirements

• Engineering background with relevant experience in technical project environments.
• Experience with technical specifications, standards and engineering documentation.
• Experience managing technical projects, including planning and budget monitoring.
• Strong experience with risk analysis and technical problem solving.
• Experience providing technical advice and coordinating internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of methodologies such as HAZOP, FMEA, SWIFT and MOC is highly relevant.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Native or bilingual Dutch proficiency.
• Ability to work in a highly regulated and safety-critical environment.
• A security clearance/authorization is an advantage; candidates should indicate their current status.
