As Senior Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of major international accounts. Your primary focus will be to strengthen long-term client partnerships, ensure customer satisfaction, and identify opportunities for sustainable business growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the main point of contact for strategic customers across Belgium and Europe.
  • Building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders within client organisations.
  • Proactively identifying risks, challenges, and opportunities to improve the customer experience.
  • Leading contract renewals, commercial negotiations, pricing discussions, and volume agreements.
  • Managing customer escalations and coordinating effective solutions with internal stakeholders.
  • Working closely with operational teams to ensure service excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Monitoring account performance, profitability, and commercial KPIs.
  • Coordinating with multiple internal departments and business sites across Belgium.
  • Contributing to business development initiatives within existing accounts and identifying selected growth opportunities.
  • Frequent travel across Belgium, with occasional travel within Europe.

  • At least 5 years of experience in a strategic B2B Key Account Management position.
  • Proven experience managing large and complex customer accounts.
  • Strong negotiation skills with exposure to senior decision-makers.
  • Solid understanding of logistics, transportation, supply chain, or another operationally B2B environment.
  • Ability to navigate complex organisations and manage multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Highly autonomous, proactive, and capable of taking ownership.
  • Strong commercial mindset combined with excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Solution-oriented with the resilience to manage challenging situations and customer escalations.
  • Analytical, structured, and eager to learn.
  • Fluent in French, Dutch, and English.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across Belgium and occasionally within Europe.
