Job description
Join a Belgian InsurTech and consulting company specialized in helping insurance organizations modernize their digital, data and IT landscapes.
Combining strong insurance business expertise with data and technology capabilities, the company supports leading insurance and financial services organizations on complex transformation initiatives, including system migration, data transformation, integration and digital modernization.
As a Migration Specialist, you will play a key role in helping clients transform complex legacy environments.
You will work at the intersection of business, data and technology, translating business requirements into functional migration solutions and supporting projects throughout their lifecycle — from analysis and design through testing, validation and execution.
This is a business/functional role, rather than a purely technical position.
Your responsibilities

Analyze existing systems, business processes and data structures

Understand client requirements and translate them into functional migration needs

Map data and processes between legacy and target systems

Define migration, transformation and validation rules
-
Support migration activities from design through execution
-
Perform data analysis, reconciliation and quality checks

Identify discrepancies and coordinate their resolution with relevant stakeholders

Work closely with clients, business stakeholders and technical teams

Contribute to the delivery of complex insurance transformation and migration projects
Requirements
-
3–4 years of experience in Data Analysis, Business Analysis, System Migration or IT Transformation

Previous consulting experience is important

Strong business understanding and analytical skills
-
Comfortable with data mapping and functional requirements

SQL knowledge is a plus
-
Some Cloud exposure is a plus, but not essential

Insurance experience is a plus, but banking, finance or risk backgrounds are also relevant

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Dutch and/or French + good English
-
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field

Based in Belgium or open to relocating to Belgium
