Montana Aerospace AG is a highly-vertically integrated manufacturer and supplier of system components and complex assemblies for the aerospace, e-mobility and energy sectors with worldwide engineering and manufacturing operations has acquired 100% of the share of the Asco Group beginning of April 2022.
For our Belgian plant we are looking for a Key Equipment Lead.
The Key Equipment Lead leads, organizes and coordinates specific Asco key equipment projects as per objectives of cost, quality and on time delivery from the start-up phase to the implementation in production.
Accountabilities :
1. Project lead
Leads, coordinates and manages the assigned key equipment projects. Ensures multi-disciplinary alignment and follow-up. Ensures respect of budget, quality and OTD.
Projects can entail new installation of key equipment, full or partial refurbishments, removal of key equipment and/or improvements of operational use of key equipment.
2. Bid
Supports the bid phase of potential new ASCO parts in the definition of key equipment. Supports the TSI manager in the definition of solutions and budget estimation.
3. Market analysis
Supports the TSI manager in developing the key equipment and supplier database. Participates to and/or manages occasional visits of suppliers and tests.
4. Key Equipment Process
Supports the TSI manager in the standardization, development and improvement of the templates and process defined for all key equipment.
Profile Know How and Experience
Education: Industrial or Civil Engineer (Master in Engineering) - or equal by experience. Experience of at least 5 years in machining techniques and/or production.
Languages: English + French and/or Dutch
Skills / Experience:
Extensive knowledge in Machining techniques and solutions provided by Machine tools manufacturers for high precision medium and large complex parts used in Aerospace (both hard metals and Aluminium from .5m to 5m+).Thorough technical knowledge and interest both product and process knowledge.Project management comptences.Ability to act proactively and ability to solve problems.Highly structured and Analytical in the approach.Understanding of Lean Manufacturing tools and concepts.Eager to continuously exchange ideas, information and opinions with others and together arrive at decisions/conclusions/solutions.Coaching, ability to develop others.Presentation and persuasive skills (to defend technical choices, even if challenged by others).Team player with the required soft skills to motivate people to work to common objectives.Results oriented with a strong customer feeling.Capable of overview and to conserve helicopter viewTakes initiatives – autonomous.Interest and experience in related and dependent activities.Flexible and efficient.Stress resistant.Open to occasional travel.Our Offer:
