Duties & Role:
ESOC Engineer, Enterprise Service Operations Centre Level 2 network support;Manage daily network operations, ticketing, incidents, work orders, changes and problem management.Network Optimization, capacity planning, upgrades, and lifecycle activities across enterprise environments;Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, and STP;Monitor network health using CA Spectrum and Splunk and other monitoring platforms; create dashboards, alerts, and operational reports;Analyze logs and telemetry data to proactively identify risks, incidents, and performance issues;Improve operational efficiency through automation of configuration management, backups, and change validation;Utilize network monitoring tools to track availability, latency, bandwidth, and device health;Lead incident response for critical outages, coordinate stakeholders, and restore services within SLA targets;Serve as the senior technical escalation point for complex network issues and strategic initiatives;Maintain accurate documentation, standards, and operational procedures for the network environment;Specific Working Conditions: Some work outside normal office hours may be required.
Requirements
Skills, Knowledge & Experience:
The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance Minimum CCNP certification (Enterprise or equivalent advanced networking certification).7+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering and operations.Strong expertise in routing and switching (BGP, OSPF, STP).Experience with Splunk for monitoring, log analysis, troubleshooting, dashboards, and alerting.Hands-on knowledge of network monitoring tools.Experience with incident management, root cause analysis, and major outage resolution.-
