Job description
We are looking for a talented Electrical Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to innovative projects across the industrial, energy, infrastructure, and utilities sectors in Leuven region.
Your responsibilities
- Design and develop low-voltage and medium-voltage electrical systems.
- Prepare electrical calculations, single-line diagrams, technical specifications, and engineering documentation.
- Produce and review electrical drawings using AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, SEE Electrical, or similar tools.
- Select electrical equipment and components according to project specifications and applicable standards.
- Collaborate with mechanical, automation, instrumentation, and civil engineering teams.
- Ensure compliance with Belgian and European electrical regulations and industry standards.
- Participate in technical meetings with clients, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
- Support installation, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting activities.
- Identify opportunities for technical improvements and contribute to innovative engineering solutions.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Previous experience in electrical engineering within industrial, infrastructure, energy, utilities, manufacturing, or building projects.
- Good knowledge of LV/MV electrical systems and electrical design principles.
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, SEE Electrical, or equivalent engineering software.
- Familiarity with IEC and Belgian electrical standards is considered an asset.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary project teams.
- Mandatory: Professional proficiency in English and Dutch, or professional proficiency in English, Dutch, and French
