My client in the Antwerp area are looking for an Automation Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
-
Implementing and commissioning PLC control systems; analysing and assessing industrial automation projects.

Supporting the maintenance department in the event of complex faults.
-
Establishing standards, protocols, models and common practice in industrial automation.

Creating specifications of the PLC control systems to be developed.
Requirements:
-
Experience Industrial Engineer with relevant experience in a manufacturing environment;

Siemens S7 and TIA PLC programming.
-
Interpretting electrical diagrams
-
SCADA systems (TIA, WinCC). Knowledge of industrial protocols such as OPC-UA, Profinet/Profibus is an advantage.

Familiarity with Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing;

Dutch and English
