Are you passionate about turning technology vision into meaningful change? Do you get a kick out of sitting at the table where crossroads of innovation, transformation and architecture meet?

Telenet's newly formed Architecture Steering & Roadmap (ASR) team is looking for a Business Consultant to help us be the trusted advisor for the decisions that shape Telenet's future. We translate complex architectural realities into clear options and business-value language, so leaders can decide with confidence.

As Business Consultant, you're the connective tissue between "what the business needs" and "what the architecture landscape allows." You won't be drawing the architecture yourself — that's what our Solution, Technology and Enterprise Architects are for — but you'll need to be comfortable enough in that world to have a real conversation with them, challenge their thinking from a business angle, and carry the result forward in language that lands with decision-makers.

Your responsibilities as Business Consultant

You translate business strategy, stakeholder needs, and market/technology trends into clear options with business-value narratives ready for decision-makers. You’ll work hand-in-hand with the Enterprise Architects in our team to pressure-test business framing against technical reality — and vice versa. You build and maintain working relationships with Solution Architects and Technology Architects across the tribe, so ASR's advice stays grounded, credible, and non-territorial. You facilitate strategic decision-making moments — workshops, steering input, roadmap sessions — turning trade-offs into choices leaders can actually make. You keep a genuine pulse on emerging tech (AI, cloud, composable IT, etc.) and translate what it for the business, not just what it .

Your profile as Business Consultant

You have a strong business/strategy consulting background, with real curiosity about IT and technology topics — AI, cloud, future tech aren’t just buzzwords to you; they’re the kind of challenges that make you lean in. You're comfortable operating an architectural context — you don't need to design solutions, but you can hold your own in a room with architects, ask the right questions, and not get lost in the jargon. You're comfortable working in the fog of future-focused questions — knowing that the goal is not to be perfectly right, but to create thoughtful scenarios and options that help others make better decisions. You have excellent communication and facilitation skills, equally at ease simplifying complexity for executives, going a layer deeper with technical experts, and constructively challenging assumptions when the conversation needs it. You have a collaborative, relationship-first mindset — you believe good advice comes from connecting people as much as from analysis. You're structured and analytical, but equally comfortable navigating the ambiguity of a newly formed team still defining its own working agreements. Experience with business transformation, strategy consulting, or technology-adjacent business roles is a strong plus.
