Senior Therapist / Trainer
Department: Spa & Wellness
Reports to: Spa & Wellness Manager

We are currently seeking a Senior Therapist / Trainer to join the Spa & Wellness team at Sontei Kyoto Shangri-La Signature.

In this role, you will deliver exceptional wellness treatments to guests while serving as an operational leader coaching and developing therapists, upholding luxury service standards, and contributing to the opening and evolution of Kyoto's most distinguished wellness destination.

Requirements
Minimum 5 years of professional spa experience
Minimum 2 years in a Senior Therapist, Lead Therapist, Educator, or Trainer role
Experience within a luxury hotel spa, destination spa, wellness retreat, or resort environment
Strong knowledge of wellness, holistic therapies, and guest care
Valid status of residence to work in Japan
CIDESCO, CIBTAC, or equivalent international qualification is an advantage
Diploma or Certification in Massage Therapy, Beauty Therapy, Spa Therapy, or related discipline is an advantage
Specialization in Aromatherapy, Ayurveda, Holistic Healing, Wellness Coaching, or Mindfulness Practices is an advantage
Previous luxury hotel pre-opening experience and CPR/First Aid certification are highly desirable
Japanese and English communication skills (JLPT N2 or above) are highly desirable

本ポジションでは、ゲストへ卓越したトリートメントを提供するとともに、運営面のリーダーとしてセラピストの育成・指導、ラグジュアリーサービス基準の維持、そして京都屈指のウェルネス施設の開業と発展への貢献を担っていただきます。

応募資格
スパ業界での実務経験5年以上
シニアセラピスト、リードセラピスト、トレーナー等として2年以上の経験
ラグジュアリーホテルスパ、リゾートスパ、ウェルネス施設での経験
高い接客力とコミュニケーション能力
日本で就労できる有効な在留資格
CIDESCO、CIBTAC等の国際資格があれば尚可
マッサージ、エステティック、スパセラピー等の認定資格があれば尚可
アロマセラピー、アーユルヴェーダ、ホリスティックセラピー資格があれば尚可
新規開業経験やCPR・応急救護資格があれば尚可
英語および日本語による接客能力（JLPT N1相当）があれば尚可
