Duration: Until November 2027
Role & Responsibilities
We are looking for a Senior SAP ABAP Developer to join the SAP IS-U development team within the Utilities sector.
The consultant will be responsible for developing, maintaining and enhancing SAP applications, including:

Designing and implementing technical solutions based on functional specifications.

Developing ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP) solutions, including User-Exits, BAdIs and enhancements.

Developing and maintaining interfaces using IDocs, ALE, BAPIs, RFC, SOAP Web Services and OData.
-
Contributing to SAP S/4HANA developments and improvements.

Performing unit tests, troubleshooting defects and ensuring code quality and technical documentation.

Collaborating closely with functional analysts, SAP Basis and the technical team lead.
Required Skills
-
Minimum 10 years of SAP development experience.

Strong expertise in ABAP, OO ABAP and SAP backend development.
-
Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA.
-
Strong experience in SAP interface development and integration technologies.
-
Fluent in English.
Nice to Have
-
SAP IS-U experience in the Utilities sector.
-
Knowledge of CDS Views, Web Dynpro, BRF+, BPEM/EMMA and SAP Fiori.

Experience with data migration tools such as LSMW and EMIGALL.
-
Knowledge of French and/or Dutch.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and communication skills, autonomy, teamwork and the ability to explain complex technical topics clearly.
Location & Working Arrangements
Rate all included Brussel. Remote work to be discussed with final customer.
