Chief Product Officer

• Define and own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the global tax platform.
• Lead and develop a team of senior product managers.
• Manage end-to-end tax platform capabilities, including (Tax master data, Tax determination and calculation, Invoicing and e-invoicing, Reconciliation, Tax reporting, Compliance and controls)
• Partner with Tax, Finance, Engineering, and business stakeholders to translate regulatory and operational requirements into scalable product solutions.
• Lead large-scale, multi-year transformation initiatives to modernize tax systems and capabilities.
• Evaluate and drive buy-versus-build decisions for tax engines, e-invoicing platforms, and external technology vendors.
• Work closely with engineering leadership to influence architecture, technical investments, scalability, and platform reliability.
• Establish governance frameworks for tax configuration, controls, and change management.
• Define success metrics, monitor platform performance, and communicate progress to executive stakeholders.

• At least 5 years in a senior product leadership role (Director, Head of Product, or equivalent).
• Proven experience building, scaling, or transforming enterprise tax platforms within large digital businesses.
• Deep understanding of indirect tax concepts, including:
  • VAT/GST
  • Marketplace and deemed-supplier models
  • Withholding tax
  • Global tax compliance requirements
• Hands-on experience with:
• Tax determination systems
• Tax rules configuration
• Invoicing/e-invoicing solutions
• Reconciliation and reporting processes
• Strong ability to drive complex, cross-functional programs in highly regulated environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and non-technical audiences.
• Experience working with globally distributed teams.
