Job Description

Who are we? IPS is an international company with inhouse Engineering and specialized services across Project Management for industries, Automation and Architecture. EPCM expertise, more than 10 countries around the globe but an entrepreneurial and teambuilding mindset.

Now, We are looking for a Data Center Project Manager, based in Belgium.

What is the role About?

You will contribute to data center development projects across all stages of their lifecycle, gradually taking on greater responsibility and ownership.

• Feasibility: Coordinate the assessment of building and white-space layouts, technical requirements, preliminary schedules, procurement strategies, budgets and Tier objectives.

• Project preparation: Manage investment analysis, basic engineering, Tier requirements, permitting and procurement planning.

• Project delivery: Oversee detailed engineering, construction and commissioning, ensuring that all teams remain aligned on scope, schedule, budget and project requirements through to handover.

Requirements

A master’s degree in electrical, mechanical, electromechanical, HVAC or civil and structural engineering, or a related field.
Nice to have: PMP certification or another recognized project management qualification, or a relevant data center certification.
You have approximately 3–4 years of professional experience, including relevant exposure to data center or other technically complex / mission-critical projects.
You understand the main stages of data center development and delivery, from feasibility and design through procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
Experience working in BIM-based multidisciplinary project environments and using BIM as a coordination and project-management tool.
Nice to have: Familiarity with data center testing, commissioning, integrated systems testing and handover processes. Experience as a Commissioning Manager is not required.
You can lead multidisciplinary projects, coordinate technical teams and manage stakeholders.
Very good knowledge of French/Dutch and English.
Ability to work independently, as well as strong team and communication skills.
Driver's license B

Requirements
Bachelor- of masterdiploma in Burgerlijke Bouwkunde, Architectuur of een gerelateerd technisch domein. Kennis van civieltechnische principes en uitvoeringswerken, met interesse om zich verder te ontwikkelen als Package Owner, Project Engineer of een gelijkaardige rol binnen industriële of infrastructurele projecten. Ervaring met werken op industriële sites is een pluspunt. Goede kennis van Microsoft Office en AutoCAD. Vloeiend in Engels en Nederlands; kennis van het Frans is een troef. Bereidheid en beschikbaarheid om te reizen naar projectlocaties wanneer nodig. Ervaring in multidisciplinaire engineeringomgevingen wordt sterk gewaardeerd. Je bent proactief, gestructureerd en oplossingsgericht.
