We are looking for an Offshore Service Technician to work in Oostende. At Vestas you will have the opportunity to develop your skills together with the global presence within wind energy and contribute to a greener world.

The Vestas Offshore Service department is responsible for service and maintenance of the wind turbines in multiple windfarms in the North Sea within Belgium. The department has an open and informal culture, where teamwork and good communication is the key to our success. Responsibilities

Carry out maintenance on electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems as directed by Supervisor Maintaining and upgrading installation activities Carrying out a diversity of check-ups, repairs and replacement activities of turbine components Creating follow-up orders Responsible for the frictionless operation of our turbines and use of our systems like Condition Monitoring / Remote Control Contribute to a safe working environment in general Registration of time and material consumption Compliance to Vestas's and client's procedures, processes, policies and instructions

Qualifications

Completed an electrical or mechanical degree from a technical school/college/university Fluent in English, Dutch will be advantageous Ideally, 2 years of experience in the electrical and mechanical field Good knowledge of MS Office Driving license category B Living in Belgium or close to the Oostende area ( km) or willing to relocate on own expense

Great problem-solving skills Team-oriented person Flexible and committed Comfortable working offshore and at heights, coping with the respective issues that this brings You recognize your own limitations and willing to seek help when needed

What we offer

We offer a days on / days off rotation, starting from Oostende, Belgium, working at the Nobelwind wind farm. This balanced schedule supports a healthy work-life balance, allowing you to fully focus during your working period while enjoying time off to re-charge.

During your rotation, you will live and work onboard a Service Operation Vessel (SOV), providing a unique offshore experience and the opportunity to be part of a collaborative and highly skilled team in a dynamic environment. Accommodation on board is fully provided during your working days.

Looking ahead, this setup will evolve no later than November 7, transitioning to Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) operations. Your rotation will remain the same, but you will move to a setup where you travel to and from the site daily, offering a different work rhythm while staying connected to home each day.
