Enterprise ICT Architect | Organisation & Transformation Architecture | Brussels
We are looking for an experienced Enterprise ICT Architect to lead strategic organisation and ICT transformation initiatives within a large public-sector environment in Brussels.
This role sits at the intersection of Enterprise Architecture, Business Architecture, Organisation Design and Digital Transformation, helping shape a future operating model and ensuring that organisational changes are fully aligned with the wider enterprise and ICT architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Finalise, update and validate the existing organisation analysis, including organisational, governance, information and ICT dependencies.
- Identify overlapping responsibilities, mandates and decision areas, as well as organisational bottlenecks affecting processes, data, applications, digital services and ICT governance.
- Develop and compare future organisation scenarios, assessing their impact on:
- Business capabilities
- End-to-end processes
- Information flows
- Applications
- ICT initiatives
- Facilitate strategic workshops with executive management and business leadership to build consensus and support decision-making.
- Design the Target Operating Model, organisational structure and organisational chart.
- Define clear responsibilities, authorities, decision rights and governance principles.
- Align the target organisation with Enterprise Architecture, ICT governance, architectural principles and the digital transformation roadmap.
- Translate the selected organisation model into an actionable implementation programme.
- Define workstreams, dependencies, architectural constraints, risks and decision points.
- Identify and document the required organisational and ICT projects.
- Develop and maintain an integrated organisation and ICT transformation roadmap.
- Create programme plans covering change management, communication, risk management and planning.
- Advise senior stakeholders on stakeholder engagement, change strategy and sustainable governance.
Required Experience
- 10+ years of professional experience as an:
- Enterprise Architect
- Business Architect
- ICT Transformation Architect
- or equivalent architecture professional
- Proven experience delivering at least 3 organisation-wide transformation or restructuring programmes.
- Experience within organisations of 1,000+ employees, including at least one organisation of approximately 2,000+ employees.
- Strong expertise in:

- ICT Transformation
- Transformation Roadmaps
- Experience conducting impact analyses across processes, information, applications, technology and governance.
- Extensive experience advising and facilitating strategic discussions with executive management teams.
- Strong stakeholder management, consensus building and workshop facilitation skills.
- Proven change management experience within complex organisations.
- Sufficient technical depth to work effectively with enterprise, business, data, application, security and infrastructure architects.
