We are looking for a Senior Underwriter Casualty to join our Antwerp team who helps driving profitable growth across the Belgian market.
The Opportunity
As a Senior Underwriter Casualty you will be responsible for underwriting new and renewal business within your authority, building strong broker and client relationships, and contributing to the development of Chubb’s Casualty portfolio in Belgium. You will work closely with colleagues across underwriting, claims, risk engineering, and operations to deliver a high-quality service and sound underwriting decisions.

What You Bring
Significant experience in Casualty underwriting, ideally within the Belgian or broader Benelux marketStrong technical underwriting skills and sound commercial judgmentProven ability to build trusted relationships with brokers and clientsExcellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skillsA proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented mindsetStrong analytical skills and attention to detailDemonstrated ability to share expertise and coach colleagues to build team knowledge and performanceFluency in English and Dutch; additional languages such as French are an advantageWhy Chubb
