As a Data Consultant your mission would typically include:
Supporting the Data & Tooling team within at one of our client’s team in the banking industry
Producing and maintaining existing data samples (execution and adaptation of SAS pipelines)
Designing and developing new data pipelines (identifying data sources and structuring datasets)
Delivering reporting and control indicators related to the team activities
Ensuring data quality, traceability, and reliability in a control-driven environment
Contributing to continuous improvement and industrialization of data pipelines
Balancing run activities (recurring production) and build initiatives (enhancements and structuring)
Collaborating with stakeholders across risk, compliance, and business teams
You’re a step closer to joining our team if you bring:
Background:
Masters degree related to computer science, data or AI or business engineering.
2 to 6 years of experience in data-related roles.
Experience in the finance sector.
Hybrid profile combining operational delivery and improvement initiatives.
Technical Skills:
Solid hands-on experience with Python, and SQL.
Strong experience with SAS (execution, reading, and adapting existing pipelines).
Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, dataset manipulation).
Advanced PowerPoint (clear and structured communication for stakeholders).
Nice to have:
Power BI (dashboarding, KRI/reporting)
Experience with data pipelines and legacy-to-modern transitions
Soft Skills:
Resilience and adaptability in changing environments
Ability to manage both repetitive tasks (BAU) and evolving topics
Strong stakeholder management skills, including with demanding audiences
High level of rigor and attention to detail (control context)
Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
Clear communication and professional posture
Ability to explain complex topics in a structured and understandable way
Languages: Fluent in English, Dutch and/or French
