As an intern with The Lighthouse (Data & AI) team, you will support one of our core services, which include:
Depending on your background and interest we can define your focus areas and responsibilities together. In your role you, you will typically support some of the following activities:
Performing research: conduct in-depth research on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive analysis. Present your finding to the team, providing valuable insights to inform strategic decisions and business development.Conduct experiments / proof-of-concepts: Design and implement innovative experiments to test new ideas, algorithms, and solutions. Analyze results and provide actionable recommendations for improvements and next steps.Collaborating with teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business analysts. Contribute to team meetings and brainstorming sessions.Documentation and reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of project work, methodologies, and findings. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentation to communicate results to stakeholders.Creating marketing material: Develop and design engaging marketing content to promote The Lighthouse's services. Skills & Qualifications
You are a student in computer siences, industrial engineering, (applied) informatics, business and information systems engineering or any data / tech related study or equivalent (major/minor).
While academic qualifications are important, there are several other main competences we highly value, including:
A broad interest in IT and business processesEnthusiasm about working in a project based environmentStrong client orientation and being a real team playerA natural ambition and high motivationFluent in Dutch or French and EnglishWe offer
We offer internships during the first and second semester at our Zaventem HQ. The duration and work schedule (full-time/part-time) can be determined in mutual consultation.
