  • Looking after the vehicle fleet: roadworthiness inspections, damage investigation and repair recommendations
  • Supporting lifecycle management of the vehicles, including research and recommendations on replacements
  • Preparing the documentation for movement of material
  • Keeping a working stock of consumable office supplies for the Brussels staff
  • Assisting with the annual inventories, both expendable and non-expendable

  • Reserving rental and agency vehicles, and verifying travel invoices in the finance system

  • A valid driving licence and a clean record, covering vehicles up to eight passengers and small trailers
  • International driving experience
  • Excellent computer skills

  • Working knowledge of motor pool operations and supply or inventory work
  • First aid at work training
  • Previous experience in an international civilian and military environment

Worth knowing before you apply

  • Fully on-site in Brussels
  • Roughly 418 hours from late September to the end of December 2026, so it is a defined piece of work rather than an open-ended post
