Working within a global technical engineering organization, you will provide expertise and guidance on electrical systems across international projects and sites.

You will act as a key technical reference for low- and medium-voltage systems, supporting projects from the early feasibility stages through design and implementation.

Your scope will be international, with collaboration across different countries, engineering teams, project organizations and external partners.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Act as the Global Subject Matter Expert for electrical engineering, particularly for low- and medium-voltage systems and power distribution.
  • Define, develop and maintain global electrical engineering standards, specifications, guidelines and best practices.
  • Support major CAPEX and engineering projects, from feasibility studies and conceptual design through project execution.
  • Provide technical guidance, engineering recommendations and troubleshooting support to project teams, engineering partners and design offices.
  • Review technical solutions and ensure alignment with applicable quality, safety, environmental and engineering requirements.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams to translate business and operational needs into robust technical solutions.
  • Monitor the implementation of global engineering standards across projects and sites.
  • Contribute to electrical safety and risk-management initiatives.
  • Identify new technologies, industry trends and opportunities for innovation within electrical engineering and asset lifecycle management.
  • Promote the use of digital tools and new technologies within the electrical engineering discipline.

  • Support initiatives related to physical asset protection and OT environments, working alongside relevant security and cybersecurity specialists.

THE PROFILE

• 8–10+ years of relevant experience, including experience acting as a technical reference, expert or SME.

You should bring:

  • Strong expertise in low- and medium-voltage electrical systems and power distribution
  • Solid knowledge of electrical equipment, circuits, protection, control systems and instrumentation
  • Experience contributing to large and complex engineering / CAPEX projects
  • Proven ability to influence and coordinate stakeholders within a matrix organization
  • Experience developing or implementing engineering standards, technical guidelines and best practices
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to translate operational or business requirements into clear technical solutions
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical subjects to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience working with engineering consultancies, contractors, suppliers and other external partners

EDUCATION & LANGUAGES

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline
  • Fluent English and French, both written and spoken
