YOUR TASKS

You support the EIT Urban Mobility Doctoral Training Network (DTN) and help connect doctoral researchers, alumni, supervisors and partner organisations. Your tasks include:

  • You promote DTN activities and opportunities through accessible web, newsletters and social media content;
  • You participate in DTN meetings, workshops and network events, and help prepare agendas, materials and follow-up;
  • You help organise training sessions, research exchanges and events, including practical coordination with partners and participants;
  • You maintain contact with the DTN community and identify opportunities for collaboration and knowledge exchange;
  • You promote the Journal of Urban Mobility among relevant researchers and at academic events;
  • You collect feedback and basic participation information and contribute to brief reports on DTN activities and outreach;
  • You contribute to new research proposals and international collaborations that contribute to the development of the DTN.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • You hold a thesis-based doctorate in Geography, Urban Planning, Transport Studies, Mobility Studies or a closely related field.
  • You can write and speak English and Dutch effectively for academic and organisational communications.
  • You work independently and can collaborate with partners from different institutions.
  • You have experience in organising (academic) activities and events.
  • You have experience in international academic networks, science communication and editorial processes.
  • Completion of the EIT Urban Mobility Doctoral Training Programme, demonstrated by its certificate, is an asset.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU

  • We offer a contract of 70% of definite duration for a period of 3 months.
  • Your contract will start on 1/11/2026 at the earliest.
