Nexeo is looking for an experienced Expert Business Analyst to join the Fraud Cluster within the Customer Servicing & Efficiency Tribe of a leading financial institution.

The Fraud Cluster is responsible for developing innovative solutions to prevent, detect, and combat fraud while supporting the bank-wide fraud strategy. You will play a key role in delivering customer-centric solutions that improve fraud prevention capabilities, automate processes, and enhance operational efficiency.

Working in an Agile environment, you will collaborate with Product Owners, business stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-value initiatives from ideation to implementation.

Your Responsibilities

As an Expert Business Analyst, you will act as both a Business Analyst and Feature/Opus Owner, leading business initiatives from ideation through delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead end-to-end business analysis activities for Features and Opuses within the Fraud Cluster.
  • Facilitate Agile ideation and refinement workshops with business stakeholders and delivery teams.
  • Gather, challenge, analyze, and document business requirements to ensure strategic alignment and operational efficiency.
  • Translate business needs into clear functional requirements and user-focused solutions.
  • Ensure customer experience considerations are fully integrated into proposed solutions.
  • Coordinate and align stakeholders throughout the ideation and refinement phases.
  • Produce functional documentation that enables development teams to work autonomously.
  • Support functional analysis whenever required.
  • Validate business requirements using mock-ups, prototypes, visualizations, and workshops.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners to define priorities and solution scope.
  • Identify risks, dependencies, constraints, and impediments while proactively proposing mitigation actions.
  • Ensure transparent communication with business stakeholders and project contributors.
  • Participate in end-to-end testing activities and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Monitor testing progress, defects, risks, and quality throughout delivery.
  • Support business teams during solution deployment through change management and user onboarding.
  • Monitor post go-live activities to ensure successful adoption of new functionalities.

Required Experience

Must-Have

  • Minimum 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
  • Proven experience leading business analysis activities in complex Agile environments.
  • Experience as Feature Owner and/or Opus Owner.
  • Strong expertise in Agile ideation and refinement techniques.
  • Excellent business analysis, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience contributing to functional analysis.
  • Strong involvement in testing activities, including UAT preparation and execution.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, data visualization, and reporting tools.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience within the Banking or Financial Services sector.
  • Knowledge of Fraud Prevention and Fraud Detection processes.
  • Understanding of fraud monitoring tools and fraud management strategies.
  • Functional and technical understanding of banking applications.
