IT Business Analyst
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced IT Business Analyst to support the development and optimization of IT applications used to manage fibre network infrastructure. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, end-users and IT development teams, ensuring business requirements are translated into effective IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze and translate business needs into functional IT requirements. Organize workshops and align expectations between business stakeholders and IT teams. Review and validate functional analyses and coordinate IT development follow-up. Prepare and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and support application releases. Coordinate change management, end-user training and communication activities. Provide functional support, investigate application issues and follow up on incident resolution. Ensure data quality and contribute to continuous application improvements. Work with GIS-based fibre inventory systems supporting FTTH, FTTC and backbone infrastructure.
Required
Skills & Experience Proven experience as an IT Business Analyst or Functional Analyst. Strong requirements gathering, functional analysis and stakeholder-management skills. Experience with UAT, application implementation and change management. Ability to facilitate workshops and manage conflicting stakeholder requirements. Understanding of IT applications, system integrations and data models. Knowledge of SQL, MSA or ERD data models is an advantage. Experience with GIS applications or telecommunications infrastructure is an advantage.
Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently in a complex IT environment. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; master's degree preferred. Languages Dutch: Fluent French: Fluent English: Fluent Ideal Candidate A proactive, analytical and results-oriented Business Analyst who can combine detailed functional analysis with a broader understanding of IT systems and business processes.
You are comfortable coordinating multiple stakeholders and supporting IT projects from requirements gathering through implementation and operational support.
