For a banking customer in Brussels, we are searching for a freelance SQL DBA for a senior mission.
Responsibilities
- Help define, implement and maintain highly available, performant & scalable database systems to effectively meet IT Business requirements
- Be involved in deployment and patching automation
- Maintain (backups, transaction log management, index optimisation etc) and upgrade the database systems etc
- Review database schema changes to ensure compliance with standards and ensure optimal choice of indexing, column definitions etc.
- Help with problem solving in case of performance problems or functional issues in applications
- Build a strong relationship both within the infrastructure team and with the development teams
- Promote best practices
- Maintain the deployment pipeline
