Help shape the future of climate-friendly cooling

The HVAC and refrigeration industry is changing rapidly. Customers are navigating new regulations, sustainability targets and evolving technologies. They need trusted partners who understand both the commercial reality and the technical challenges.

That is where this opportunity becomes interesting.

At Chemours, we are looking for a (Senior) Account Manager to manage and grow a strategic portfolio of customers and channel partners across Benelux, Germany and Northern Europe. This is not a transactional sales role. You will work with distributors, OEMs and direct customers, helping them make long-term decisions around refrigeration, cooling systems and lower environmental impact solutions.

You'll join our international Thermal & Specialized Solutions (TSS) EMEA team where commercial strategy, technical expertise and sustainability come together.

What makes this opportunity different?

Many account management and sales roles focus on selling more. This one is about helping customers make smarter decisions.

You will manage a substantial multi-million portfolio, build long-term partnerships and work closely with Technical Sales, Business Development, Marketing and Advocacy teams to help customers navigate a constantly evolving market. You'll have significant autonomy, exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence how customers approach the transition toward more sustainable cooling technologies.

For someone with a strong technical-commercial background, this is an opportunity to combine relationship management, strategic thinking and market influence in an industry that is undergoing meaningful change.

What you will be doing

You will own and develop a portfolio of distributors, OEMs and strategic customers across the region.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building strong, long-term customer and partner relationships
  • Developing and executing strategic account plans
  • Managing pricing discussions, commercial negotiations and contract renewals
  • Identifying growth opportunities across existing and new applications
  • Working alongside Business Development and Technical Sales teams on customer projects and market opportunities
  • Advising customers on market developments, sustainability trends and product transitions
  • Representing Chemours at customer meetings, industry events and trade associations
  • Managing a mix of direct sales and channel partner relationships across industries & geographies.

A day in the life

You start your day reviewing priorities for a portfolio of strategic customers across Benelux, Germany and Northern Europe. Before lunch, you might be discussing a contract renewal with a distributor, reviewing an account strategy with colleagues, or helping a customer understand how changing regulations could impact their business.

The afternoon could take you in a completely different direction. Perhaps you're visiting an OEM to explore future opportunities in climate-friendly cooling, attending an industry association meeting, or working with Technical Sales and Business Development teams on a customer project that could shape a new market opportunity.

What makes the role interesting is the variety. You are not just managing accounts. You are helping customers make long-term decisions, navigating a changing market, and working with colleagues across Europe to support solutions that contribute to a more sustainable future.

What we are looking for

You will likely bring:

  • Approximately 5+ years of experience in Account Management, Key Account Management, Technical Sales or B2B Business Development
  • Experience in HVAC, refrigeration, cooling, chemicals, thermal management or a related technical industry
  • Strong commercial skills including pricing, negotiations, account planning and contract management
  • Experience managing complex customer relationships and multiple stakeholders
  • The ability to operate independently in a remote, field-based role
  • Fluency in English plus German and/or French
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% across the region

A degree in Business, Engineering or a related field is appreciated, but we are equally interested in candidates who have built strong industry expertise through experience.
