Business Analyst – Supplier Management (Freelance)
An automotive organisation is looking for a Business Analyst to support supplier management processes and projects. The role focuses on analysing supplier-related processes, gathering requirements and supporting the implementation of changes across business and IT.
The Business Analyst will work with stakeholders across procurement, supply chain, manufacturing and IT. BPMN will be used to document and model current and future-state processes.
Responsibilities
- Analyse supplier management processes within an automotive environment
- Gather and document business requirements
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications
- Model current and future-state processes using BPMN
- Analyse process flows, dependencies and business rules
- Work with procurement, supply chain, manufacturing and IT stakeholders
- Facilitate workshops and requirement-gathering sessions
- Document processes, requirements and functional specifications
- Support supplier management system and process changes
- Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers
- Support testing, validation and user acceptance activities
- Follow up on issues, changes and dependencies throughout the project
Profile
- Experience as a Business Analyst
- Experience within the automotive industry
- Experience with supplier management, procurement or supply chain processes
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements
- Experience with BPMN and business process modelling
- Experience working between business and IT
- Experience writing functional specifications
