As an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer, you join a strategic CAPEX project in the pharmaceutical sector, focused on building a new manufacturing facility. Based in Belgium, you become part of a project team as technical referent and E&I package owner.

Your responsibilities

• Act as technical referent and package owner for Electrical & Instrumentation activities.
• Represent the project owner in discussions with the engineering office, contractors, and suppliers.
• Review and challenge engineering deliverables to ensure compliance with project standards.
• Manage the E&I package scope: planning, budget, quality, and contractor performance.
• Prepare, review, and validate technical specifications, calculations, and engineering documents (wiring diagrams, I/O lists, electrical datasheets).
• Coordinate multidisciplinary E&I topics: high and low voltage, fire detection, access control, gas detection, interlocking systems, electrical distribution.

Your profile

• Minimum 10 years of engineering experience in industrial environments.
• Proven experience managing large multidisciplinary CAPEX projects.
• Ability to manage a complete E&I package rather than a single discipline.
• Experience managing engineering contractors and design offices.
• Fluent English required; knowledge of French, Dutch, or Spanish is an asset.
