ACENSI Belgium is looking for a JAVA Developer for one of its client in the banking sector.
While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required.
Mission Context:
The Java Developer will join an Agile team responsible for designing, building, testing and delivering valuable software components within each sprint.
As a DEV Engineer, the consultant will contribute across different areas including analysis, design, development, testing and integration, working closely with the other team members to ensure successful delivery at the end of each sprint.
Key Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the successful delivery of the Sprint Backlog
• Design, develop, test and integrate software solutions
• Collaborate closely with developers and other Agile team members
• Support the team beyond his/her own specific technical domain when needed
• Work according to Scrum principles and Agile values
• Actively participate in knowledge sharing and continuous learning
• Maintain open and efficient communication within the team
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices and delivery quality
• Help improve software delivery speed and operational quality
Technical Requirements – Mandatory:
• Strong Java expertise
• Spring Boot
• Microservices architecture
• Docker
• Kubernetes
• Cloud development skills
• Excellent understanding of IT architecture, including:
- Hardware
- Operating systems
- Networking
- Databases
- Middleware
• Knowledge of development methods, standards and tools
• Knowledge of security procedures and best practices
Technical Requirements – Nice to Have:
• Experience with integration across different technologies, including distributed systems and mainframe environments
Methodology xlxgzvr / Business Knowledge
Mandatory:
• Good knowledge and practical experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Languages:
• English: Mandatory – used for meetings and all documentation
• French: Spoken language within the working environment
• Dutch: Nice to have
Soft Skills:
• Excellent analytical skills
• Strong team spirit and collaborative mindset
• Efficient communication skills
• Delivery and result-oriented
• Comfortable working in an Agile environment
• Proactive attitude towards continuous improvement
