We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven IT Project Test Analyst to join our team at Morrison Finance. The successful candidate will support a Non-Life Claims transformation programme for a major player in the insurance sector, combining test analysis and design, test execution and test management within development project teams. This is a hands-on role that requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities and a solid understanding of end-to-end business processes and system integrations.

Key Responsibilities

✅ Analyze business and technical requirements and identify quality risks.

✅ Define and maintain the testing strategy, master test plan, test scope, test levels and test approach.

✅ Design, maintain and execute test scenarios and test cases (functional, technical, integration, end-to-end and SIT), including the creation of test data.

✅ Investigate incidents and unexpected behavior, and support defect diagnosis through analysis of APIs, integrations, messaging components and end-to-end transaction flows.

✅ Manage and follow up defects (prioritization, reporting, coordination), monitor test progress and report regularly to project stakeholders.

✅ Collaborate closely with business analysts, functional analysts, architects and developers, and contribute to release regression testing and continuous improvement of QA practices.

Profile:

✅ Minimum 5 years of experience in test analysis and test execution, including defining test strategies, master test plans and high-level test structures.

✅ Solid experience in defect management.

✅ Knowledge of business process management, requirements management and test engineering (2–5 years).

✅ Experience in the insurance sector (2–5 years).

✅ Solid command of Excel and Microsoft Office tools.

✅ Ability to support functional analysts in investigating issues across the end-to-end flow.

✅ Knowledge of SQL/DB2, Azure DevOps and API testing.

✅ Excellent command of English + Dutch and/or French (one fluent, the other passive).

✅ Nice to have: experience with Postman, Swagger or SoapUI, case/workflow management tools (e.g. Pegasystems), claims management systems, test automation (Playwright, Cucumber…) and basic knowledge of non-functional requirements and software architecture.
