TREMEC in Zedelgem is part of the international TREMEC Corporation with over 1,200 employees,
spread across four locations in Mexico, the USA and Belgium. At our entity in Zedelgem (near
Bruges), more than 100 engineers and colleagues work on the development, testing, prototyping and
production of high-technology transmission systems and subsystems.

Your role:
- Take ownership of the qualification, development and auditing of new and existing suppliers, ensuring compliance with internal requirements and APQP methodologies.
- Review PPAP submissions, identify risks or gaps, and drive the necessary actions to achieve successful supplier approval.
- Act as the key quality interface between suppliers and TREMEC plants, supporting a smooth launch and sustainable supplier performance.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Procurement and Quality teams, contributing to crossfunctional projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Travel regularly to supplier locations, primarily within Europe but occasionally beyond, depending on business and project needs.
In this position you report to the SQ Team Lead in Belgium with a dotted line to US & Mexico.
Your profile:
- Engineer at heart, passionate about quality, supplier development and continuous improvement.
- Technical background in electromechanics and experience within the automotive industry.
- Strong interest in driveline technologies, manufacturing processes and problem-solving.
- Familiarity with quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D and root cause analysis.
- Effective communicator who collaborates easily across teams, cultures and organizations.
- Ownership mindset, combined with a structured and hands-on approach.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis (up to 50% of the time).
