The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for defining, implementing and continuously improving deSter's talent acquisition strategy and recruitment processes. The role acts as the subject matter expert for recruitment, employer branding, candidate experience and talent pipelining, ensuring the business attracts and hires high-quality talent in an efficient, consistent and scalable way. The role is responsible for driving recruitment excellence across deSter while ensuring alignment with global talent acquisition strategies, governance and best practices.

Success will be achieved through the implementation of standardized recruitment processes, strong stakeholder management, proactive talent pipelining, an outstanding candidate experience and measurable improvements in recruitment quality, speed and hiring effectiveness.


Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Define, implement and continuously improve deSter's talent acquisition strategy in alignment with business priorities.
  • Develop scalable recruitment processes, standards and best practices across all regions.
  • Drive continuous improvement of recruitment tools, methodologies and ways of working.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes globally.
  • Define the most effective sourcing strategy for each vacancy.
  • Develop and manage job posting strategies using internal and external channels.
  • Coordinate interview processes, including interview cadence, interview panel composition and decision-making.
  • Recommend and coordinate the use of assessments, business cases and psychometric testing where appropriate.
  • Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Build relationships with universities, colleges and schools to develop internship, graduate and early career pipelines.
  • Organize and represent deSter at recruitment fairs, career events, job days and networking events.
  • Support employer branding initiatives to strengthen deSter's attractiveness as an employer.
  • Ensure an outstanding candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle. Maintain timely and professional communication with candidates.
  • Facilitate global new joiner welcome sessions and onboarding follow-up to support successful integration.
  • Partner closely with HR Business Partners and Country HR Managers to understand workforce planning needs.
  • Collaborate with external recruitment agencies when required and manage supplier performance.
  • Work closely with the gategroup Global Talent Acquisition Centre of Excellence. Adopt and implement global recruitment standards, tools and processes.
  • Develop and maintain recruitment dashboards and KPIs.


Core Competencies and Requirements


Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field.


Work Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment.
  • Experience recruiting across multiple functions and international locations.
  • Proven experience in building recruitment processes and implementing recruitment best practices.
  • Experience working within an international matrix organization.
  • Manufacturing, industrial or B2B experience is a strong advantage.
