- Freelance – Pharmaceutical Sector – Antwerp /h3 pA leading client of ours in the pharmaceutical sector is seeking a skilled and analytical Functional Analyst to act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams. The role focuses on understanding business requirements, analysing existing processes, translating business needs into functional specifications, and supporting the delivery of effective IT solutions. /p pWorking in a healthcare environment, the Functional Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve business processes, enhance system performance, support digital transformation initiatives, and ensure that technology solutions meet business and operational requirements. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liGather, analyse and document business requirements and functional specifications. /li liTranslate business needs into user stories, use cases and acceptance criteria. /li liCollaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams and project managers. /li liAnalyse business processes and identify opportunities for improvement. /li liSupport functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT) and defect resolution. /li liMaintain functional documentation and ensure alignment between business requirements and IT solutions. /li liParticipate in Agile ceremonies and support system implementation and continuous improvement. /li /ul h3Required Skills /h3 ul liExperience in business analysis, functional analysis or requirements management. /li liStrong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping and functional documentation. /li liKnowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and the software development life cycle (SDLC). /li liFamiliarity with UAT, functional testing and defect management. /li liExperience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio or SQL is an advantage. /li liExcellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills. /li liAbility to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. /li liProficiency in English; Dutch and/or French is an advantage. /li /ul pSTART DATE: ASAP /p pDURATION: 12 Months /p pCONTRACT: Freelance /p pLOCATION: Antwerp (2 days per week) /p pONSITE POLICY: Flexible /p pHOURS PER WEEK: 40 /p pLANGUAGES: English – Dutch/French is an advantage /p
