Our client is a leading international retailer known for its collaborative culture, innovation, and continuous improvement mindset.

Manage and reconcile financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities and support financial reporting under BE GAAP and IFRS.
Perform complex account reconciliations, including intercompany and fixed assets accounts.
Analyze and optimize financial processes by implementing automation and efficiency improvements.
Partner with operational teams (stores, e-commerce, logistics) to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Identify financial risks, strengthen internal controls, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management with at least a first experience in a similar role.
Strong accounting knowledge with the ability to independently manage complex reconciliations (intercompany, fixed assets).
Proficient in Excel, with an interest in ERP systems and Generative AI tools.
Organized, proactive, and able to manage priorities effectively while meeting strict deadlines.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Fluent in Dutch with a good command of French and English; committed to continuous learning and process improvement.
