Skills, knowledge, experience required:

5+ years hands-on experience in at least one of the above database technologies (MySQL or PostgreSQL) and 2+ years of experience in the second database technology (MySQL or PostgreSQL);

The experience expected from applicants, as well as additional skills and qualifications needed for this job are listed below.
Strong knowledge of MySQL architecture, storage engines (InnoDB);
Hands-on experience with backup tools like mysqldump, MySQL shell, Percona, XtraBackup.

Desirable:

- Experience with cloud-managed MySQL platforms (AWS RDS/Aurora, GCP Cloud SQL, Azure Database for MySQL);

Familiarity with MySQL Shell, Orachestrator, ProxySQL or HAProxy;
Practical experience with pgvector. xirbnpk Duties/role:
Installing, configuring, maintaining, and upgrading standalone and/or clustered database instances;
PostgreSQL 12+, MySQL 8.0+:
Performing routine database maintenance, including schema housekeeping, index maintenance, statistics updates, and data retention support.
