Our partner is an international technology company is looking for a Network Engineer with a Team Lead mindset to take ownership of the network environment while guiding and supporting a team of IT professionals.
This is not a purely managerial position: you will remain hands-on with the technology , with a strong focus on Fortinet , while taking a leading role within the team.
Lead Network Engineer - The Job
- Take ownership of the network infrastructure , designing, configuring and maintaining secure and highly available environments, with a strong focus on Fortinet technologies.
- Lead and support the network/IT team , providing technical guidance, prioritizing activities and helping team members grow their expertise.
- Manage and optimize FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, VPN, SD-WAN and security policies , while working with Palo Alto technologies where required.
- Drive network security initiatives, including firewall management, segmentation, IDS/IPS, vulnerability assessments and incident response.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues, monitor performance and ensure reliability, availability and continuous improvement of the infrastructure.
- Coordinate projects, vendors and internal stakeholders , while maintaining clear technical documentation and ensuring successful delivery.
