- is recruiting: CLASS TEACHERS AND/OR LEARNING SUPPORT TEACHERS NURSERY AND/OR PRIMARY CYCLES ITALIAN LANGUAGE SECTION Contract between 12 and 25.5 hours/week Fixed-term contract EEBI is part of the European Schools system and provides education for children whose parents work for the European institutions. Our school community is made up of 4,250 pupils of 60 different nationalities and over 500 members of staff from Member States and beyond. Pupils are taught in twelve main language sections. Our School aims to offer innovative and inclusive teaching programmes that achieve excellent academic results. Class teachers are hired to teach within a specific language section. The Support Teacher provides general, moderate or intensive support to nursery or primary pupils inside or outside the classroom setting working closely with the subject teachers. Profile:
- Diploma: The candidate must hold a diploma that enables them to work as a Primary teacher in the Italian language section in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education. All diplomas are subject by the inspector validation;
- At least 2 years of professional teaching experience;
- Excellent command of the section language (equivalent to an educated native speaker);
- Good knowledge of at least one other official working language of the European Institutions (English-French-German);
- Knowledge of another European language is an asset;
- Good communication skills, flexibility and availability;
- Willingness to work in a multicultural and multilingual environment;
- A high level of professionalism and attention to student wellbeing;
- Ability to cooperate with colleagues and Management;
- Good knowledge of the European schools’ system. Offer:
