Let your talent and experience contribute to our growth /p ul liAs a Snowflake Platform Architect, you work with customers and colleagues to define the architecture and technical direction of enterprise data and AI platforms on Snowflake. /li liYou translate business, data, security and non-functional requirements into a future-proof platform architecture, including clear architecture principles, standards and roadmaps. /li liYou design scalable multi-account and multi-environment solutions and make well-founded choices regarding compute, storage, workload isolation, data lifecycle, network connectivity and disaster recovery. /li liYou define integration patterns for batch, streaming and data sharing, using technologies and concepts such as Snowpipe (Streaming), Snowflake Openflow / Apache NiFi, APIs, secure data sharing and Marketplace capabilities. /li liYou provide architectural direction for open lakehouse solutions with Apache Iceberg tables and catalogs such as Horizon Catalog and Snowflake Open Catalog/Polaris, with attention to interoperability across Azure and AWS. /li liYou design the governance and security model, using RBAC, masking and row access policies, tagging, auditing, private connectivity and compliance by design. /li liYou establish frameworks for platform automation and lifecycle management through Infrastructure as Code, Git and CI/CD, including Terraform, Snowflake CLI and automated quality controls. /li liYou safeguard performance, scalability and cost efficiency by defining standards for warehouse sizing, resource monitors, query profiling, observability and FinOps. /li liYou guide Data Engineers and other specialists through complex technical decisions, conduct architecture reviews and act as a trusted technical point of contact for customers, Cegeka teams and Snowflake solution architects. /li /ul h3What you need to succeed: /h3 ul liYou have extensive experience as a Data Platform Architect, Cloud Data Architect, Snowflake Architect or in a comparable senior role within complex enterprise environments. /li liYou have proven experience designing and implementing Snowflake platform architectures, including account strategy, environment separation, workload isolation, scalability and high availability. /li liYou combine strong hands-on Snowflake knowledge with in-depth expertise in SQL, platform configuration and relevant automation; knowledge of Python and Snowpark is an asset. /li liYou are familiar with data integration and orchestration patterns using Snowpipe (Streaming), Snowflake Openflow / Apache NiFi, Airflow, Snowflake Tasks, Streams and Dynamic Tables. /li liYou have experience with open lakehouse architectures, Apache Iceberg tables and catalog integrations such as Horizon Catalog, Snowflake Open Catalog/Polaris, AWS Glue or Unity Catalog. /li liYou have a strong background in cloud architecture on Azure and/or AWS, including storage integrations, external volumes, private connectivity, identity federation and network security. /li liYou master Snowflake security and governance, including RBAC, masking and row access policies, tagging, auditing, data sharing and compliance by design. /li liYou have experience with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD, preferably Terraform, Git and Snowflake CLI, and can define standards for controlled deployments and platform lifecycle management. /li liYou can substantiate architecture decisions relating to performance, capacity and cost, using warehouse sizing, resource monitors, query profiling, observability and FinOps principles. /li liYou are familiar with enterprise data modelling and operating models such as Data Vault, Kimball and data mesh, and can translate them into clear platform guidelines. /li liYou work according to a hybrid employment policy: from the Cegeka office near your place of residence (Ghent, Brussels, Hasselt, Antwerp or Leuven), combined with working from home and on site at the customer. /li liNice to have: SnowPro Core and/or SnowPro Advanced: Architect, complemented by relevant Azure or AWS certifications. /li liYou have strong stakeholder management and communication skills and can explain complex architecture clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
