ph3Senior Vulnerability Management Security Infrastructure Engineer /h3 pBrussels, Belgium (on-site) | Contract /p pWe're looking for a senior engineer for a large international public-sector organisation in Brussels. You'll own vulnerability management end to end and automate the processes around it across hybrid on-premise and cloud environments. /p h3What you'll do /h3 ol liRun the full vulnerability lifecycle, from identification, assessment and prioritisation through remediation tracking and verification. /li liBuild Python/Bash automation and API integrations that connect scanners, SIEM, ticketing and infrastructure tools. /li liDeploy, manage and harden Linux, Windows and VMware ESXi servers, as well as network devices (switches, routers, firewalls, VPN gateways). /li liCoordinate remediation with infrastructure, development, cloud, SOC and compliance teams and with external vendors. /li liProduce vulnerability reports, remediation plans, dashboards and KPI reporting for stakeholders and management. /li liDesign and deploy scalable infrastructure and services that support threat and vulnerability data. /li liWrite clear technical documentation and operational procedures, and automate responses to recurring issues. /li /ol h3What you'll bring /h3 ol li10+ years in IT, with at least 5 years in vulnerability management or security infrastructure, plus a minimum of 2 years of post-secondary education. /li liHands-on experience with Rapid7 Nexpose or Nessus, Splunk, and ServiceNow or Jira. /li liDeep Linux, Windows and VMware ESXi administration skills, and strong knowledge of TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs and encryption and authentication protocols. /li liStrong scripting and automation skills in Python and Bash; Java, Go or Rust are a plus. /li liCloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP or OVH) with Terraform and Ansible, and familiarity with DevSecOps, Docker/Kubernetes and message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ. /li liAt least one cybersecurity certification plus one engineering, architecture, programming or product certification (mandatory). /li liEnglish at C1 level. French or another EU language is an advantage. /li /ol /p
