A representative task may require constructing a mechanical component with complex curved geometry, implementing the model through Python, exporting it as a STEP file, and validating it against strict geometric and physical requirements. /ppThis is not a general hardware-support or electronics role. Candidates should have strong CAD, spatial-reasoning, geometry, and technical problem-solving abilities. /ph3What You’ll Work On /h3olliInterpret dimensions and geometric relationships from technical drawings. /liliTranslate 2D schematics into accurate 3D mechanical models. /liliDecompose complex components into appropriate geometric features. /liliModel curved profiles, sweeps, lofts, fillets, chamfers, and Boolean operations. /liliUse Python to generate or automate CAD geometry. /liliExport valid, watertight solid models in formats such as STEP. /liliValidate dimensions, topology, volume, surface area, and inertia properties. /liliDiagnose subtle differences between expected and generated geometry. /liliProduce reproducible solutions that work in clean technical environments. /li /olh3Required Qualifications /h3olliStrong Python programming ability. /liliHands-on experience with 3D CAD or computational geometry. /liliAbility to interpret dimensioned engineering drawings and schematics. /liliStrong 3D spatial reasoning and attention to geometric precision. /liliExperience validating or troubleshooting CAD models. /li /olpRelevant tools may include build123d, CadQuery, FreeCAD, OpenCascade, Fusion 360, Onshape, SolidWorks, trimesh, or other CAD and geometry software. No specific tool is mandatory if your experience is transferable. /ppFormal education and years of professional experience are not strict requirements. Mechanical designers, CAD specialists, engineers, researchers, makers, and independent technical experts are encouraged to apply if they can demonstrate the relevant skills. /ph3Process /h3olliApply to the role and complete the screening questions. /liliComplete an AI interview of approximately 30 minutes. /liliComplete the hiring manager review. /li /olh3Compensation Structure /h3pCompensation is output-based. Experts are paid per task that meets the project specifications. The time required to complete each task may vary depending on the expert’s experience and workflow. /ppMinimum submission requirements apply.. /ph3Start Timeline Availability /h3pWe typically fill roles within 48 hours and are looking for experts who are ready to begin immediately. If selected, you will be expected to start your first task within 24–48 hours of completing onboarding. /p
