- EuropebrOccasional on-site travelbrStart: Before the end of 2026brEnglish-speakingbrbrbrbrFor a major insurance transformation programme, we are looking for an experienced freelance Product Owner with Insurance Package Implementation experience to join a greenfield Guidewire Cloud implementation within Commercial Insurance.brbrThe client is looking to onboard Product Owners across both the PolicyCenter and Claimcenter implementation teams.brbrThe Product Owner will take ownership of their respective product domain, working closely with business stakeholders, Business Analysts, Solution Architects, configuration developers, and other members of a distributed Agile delivery team.brbrbrResponsibilitiesbrbrOwn and manage the Product Backlog for PolicyCenter or ClaimcenterbrDefine and communicate product vision, priorities, and roadmapbrTranslate business objectives into epics, features, and user storiesbrPrioritise requirements based on business value, risk, and dependenciesbrAct as the key decision-maker for product-related questions and prioritiesbrWork closely with stakeholders to define target business processes and desired outcomesbrCollaborate with Guidewire configuration teams to ensure solutions align with business requirementsbrParticipate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Reviews, Refinements, and PI PlanningbrSupport testing, user acceptance activities, and release planningbrEnsure successful delivery of business value throughout the implementation lifecyclebrbrbrbrRequirementsbrbrExperience as a Product Owner within insurance transformation programmesbrPrevious experience with Guidewire or another core insurance platform implementationbrStrong understanding of Policy Administration and/or Claims processesbrExperience working in Agile/Scrum or SAFe environmentsbrAbility to engage with senior stakeholders and technology teamsbrExcellent communication and prioritisation skillsbrbrbrbrProject contextbrbrGreenfield Guidewire Cloud implementationbrFocus on Commercial InsurancebrPolicyCenter and Product Definition at the core of the rolebrScrum team of approximately 10 people, including 3-4 Business Analysts and configuration developersbrInternational/distributed project environmentbrFirst release currently moving into User Acceptance TestingbrNext release starts with an inception phase covering requirements, solution design and user-story backlog creationbrEarlier onboarding preferred to build project and policy knowledge ahead of the next major delivery phase
