For one of our clients, we are looking for experienced Business Analysts to support digital transformation initiatives within the Assets Department.
In this role, you will contribute to strategic digitalisation and optimisation projects designed to improve the efficiency, safety, and reliability of the organisation's operations.
As a key liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, you will analyse and redesign business processes, gather and validate requirements, and ensure that digital solutions effectively support operational needs.
You will also contribute to the energy transition, renewable energy integration, and the harmonisation of processes across different entities.
Key responsibilities
Business analysis & process optimisation:
Analyse, model, and optimise business processes.
Guide business stakeholders in redesigning and improving operational processes.
Gather business needs and translate them into epics, user stories, and business requirements.
Constructively challenge stakeholders to ensure efficient and pragmatic solutions.
Develop business information models to support the implementation of requirements.
Support the harmonisation of processes across departments and entities.
Business & IT coordination:
Facilitate the alignment and validation of requirements between business and IT teams.
Review and validate functional analyses prepared by IT partners.
Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders throughout project delivery.
Ensure digital solutions effectively address identified business and operational needs.
Testing & implementation:
Test, review, and validate application releases following implementation.
Support business users during the implementation of new solutions.
Provide post-implementation support to business users.
Change management & user support:
Contribute to change management activities.
Prepare training materials.
Deliver end-user training sessions.
Support users during adoption and post-go-live phases.
Projects may involve:
Digitalisation and optimisation of outage-planning processes for maintenance activities.
Automation and digitalisation of switching operations in the high-voltage network.
Improvement of operational safety processes and supporting ICT applications.
Development of processes and systems supporting offshore wind infrastructure maintenance.
Optimisation of administrative support processes for operational departments, particularly within SAP PM.
Other digital transformation and process optimisation initiatives within the Assets organisation.
Required skills & experience
Mandatory requirements: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst.
Proven experience in:
Requirements gathering and analysis
Business process design and optimisation
Business requirements documentation
Stakeholder management
Master's degree in an Engineering, Technical, Economic, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Fluent communication skills in:
Dutch
French
English
Strong knowledge of:
BPMN
UML
Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills.
Strong communication and facilitation abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary environments.
Strong planning, organisational, and coordination skills.
Strong assets: Basic knowledge of SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) or willingness to acquire it quickly.
Experience with:
Enterprise Architect (EA)
Jira
Azure DevOps / TFS
Experience in the electricity, utilities, or energy sector.
Experience with industrial asset maintenance and asset management processes.
Exposure to large-scale digital transformation or business process optimisation projects.
